Gorgeous blackbird by Marek Bojczuk
Pixie has gorgeous hazel, green eyes. Here’s her snakey side coming out. I love her floofy chin, which she sometimes allows me to tickle.
Auroric Embrace delves into the cyclical nature of life and all the bittersweet, overflowing joy that comes from being human.
Today is Bandcamp Friday. If you were thinking about dipping your toes more thoroughly into my albums, today would be a great day to do that here 💗🐾🌷
Deadheading the roses comes with the joyful advantage of working in the rose garden all afternoon. Their scent on the warm wind, the sun bringing the sweet aroma out further. Heavenly.
This rose smells as it looks. Of apricot and peach. It’s called Absolutely Fantastic 😁
Guilty pleasure? Perhaps. Not for the feint hearted? Definitely not. I watched Nobody last night based on this bus clip that popped into my yt feed recently (like I said - it’s not for the feint hearted). There’s something about the main character, which had me transfixed. He needs a break, he’s not the man he once was, he knows that. He’s become a shell but deep down he knows who he really is. And it’s simmering! This is about him finding himself again. In the most fantastical way. I watched him rekindle his love for life with grit and passion. It’s dad stuff. He’s a dad hero. He’s a middle-aged hero. There are even some scenes with an A-Team type feel…nostalgic for sure.
I love Bob Odenkirk. He’s just so good in this role. It was made for him. His facial expressions and camera presence alone make it perfect. It’s funny, violent, slick, melancholic, touching with full on fight scenes and lots of weird and wonderful humour. I had no idea Christopher Lloyd was in it too - what a treat his character was. Great, feel good stuff - despite the violence - with kind stories running through. Not to mention a catto within the first few scenes 😻 A little gem.
Wow I love this techno DJ Courtesy. She’s got a great sound - fluid, soft, driving, ethereal, other-worldly, alien with a touch of Anamanaguchi thrown in. I feel like I’m in some kind of Mario Land. She likes the classics. She’s a lot of fun. I’m enjoying how uplifting she is.
Meditation Lights has a new episode - What Colour are You? Peaceful Colour Meditation with Ambient Healing Music. Choose a colour depending on your mood. Imagine it helping and healing you. Envelop in its energy and be soothed by sacred, healing music.
Getting back into the magic of the Hare Krishnas and Hinduism. Bright, beautiful Holi Festival - a celebration of Love - lots of colour, giggles, and sacred song. Delicious, blessed food, kind people everywhere. It makes me so joyous to be in this energy. And a resident cat too.
Listening to a blistering techno mix from AISHA right now. Ethereal, driving, banging, super hard and yet elegant, fluid and confident. Loving her sound. She’s a cool babe 🌞
Obviously you can imagine I’m doing cartwheels inside 🤸♀️ Snuggly part time cat love is the best 😺😻😽
Think I actually wore her out (for about 5 seconds when she demanded I play with her again…yay!). Head over heels for this cute kitton. 😺
Cosmic Dance is new over on Late Nite Harp. It’s a habit to play familiar patterns of strings; my fingers feel like they always need to be plucking and I wanted to change that to allow the music more space. It’s a happy dance of a piece, played at a cosmic ball far far away.
