Got a nourishing collection of produce from the local market this morning. It’s an animal market with a weekly produce market so there are lots of farmers around, catching up on the week’s successes, meeting for lunch in between auctions. It’s a whole other world. 🍓🍇🍑🍊🍋🍏🍰
How amazing is the Kate Bush scene in Stranger Things that everyone’s in love with now?! S4E4 has to be my favourite in the whole series. What a powerful song to use in that moment. I loved reading everyone’s reactions to it on Reddit 🤩. People were screaming at the TV in hope. 💖
It’s not often (twice in my whole life now) that I get to go to an organ recital. I ❤️ the power of organs. They’re mental 😄 This is a bit of Mendelssohn. Totally needed those sandwiches afterwards. All that intensity made me hungry 🤭

Just made my very first omelette with chive flowers from the garden. They look so pretty all sprinkled on top there. I do love sprinkling things on top of other things. It makes me feel very French. This is the French Omelette recipe I followed.
I was reminded again of a Nelly Furtado song I was obsessed with in my 20s. The beat was so awesome 🥰 I went back to the past tonight and watched the video. It was sweet to read the nostalgic comments full of stories of young people having adventures with pals. 💕
Beyond the green magnificence of my back garden beech tree heaven lies another magnificence with far reaching views and a feeling of expanse. I’ve never wished to be a bird quite so much as I have here.
Hummingbird Prayer. Today I ask the magical hummingbird, revered in rainforests as a sweet messenger of peace and joy, to dispel the darkness and raise us up to be healed and held by blossoming flowers and radiant sunshine. We all need to be raised up now and again. ✊🏽
Many jackdaws live in the beech trees out in the back garden and it’s the first time I’ve heard baby jackdaws. They sound like a mixture of pogo sticks, creaky tree wood and swings that haven’t been oiled.
I managed to grow a single pink aquilegia flower a few years ago. I even took it on holiday to make sure it survived. Now an array of purple (I’m assuming) ones are about to burst forth. They’ve always looked like alien flowers to me and I can’t wait for the show. 🥳
