Get on and Shine with Holly Honeychurch

@philipbrewer is that because of the wild fires? That’s a terrible thing to deal with. It affects daily health so much. I hope things improve for you (and everyone affected). Not the same thing, but for the last few years, a rubbish tip, close to the river in the town, has been spewing out noxious gas and the whole area has been affected. The kids in the playground breathe it in as they play, people can’t open their windows even in the summer, it has been so frustrating. There have been ongoing protests to close it down (the school children even took a petition to Parliament) and they have all been ignored. It’s been really sad.

Then a few weeks ago, the council said it would change their policy so only building materials would be sent there. No food waste. 😮 After so many years of stench, it has finally dissipated. It’s unreal. Finally someone acted. Alleluia.

Hope your situation improves soon Philip 🙏
