Get on and Shine with Holly Honeychurch

Meet Bodkin. The master of silly faces and the biggest, chunkiest boy. He’s a bit of a scaredey cat and spends lots of time sleeping on top of the kitchen cupboards, until playtime. πŸ˜‰

She’s the softest, silkiest, smooshiest poppet. 😍

Meet Phoebe, who I call Dotty (cos she’s like a black dot when she curls up). I’m looking after her and her two siblings for the next couple of weeks. I’m beyond excited about it! She’s currently sleeping on my lap. I can feel her purr reverberating through my legs. Yum! πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ πŸŽ‰ 😸 πŸ’ž

Stop the press! England finally stops raining! πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ

Was trying to get a nice photo with Bessie (aka Bin Breath), but I got slobbered instead. Love you Bessie.

The tide has turned and is rolling back into the bay. It’ll be full in a couple of hours. It’s so fast.

A calm lake is a nourishing place.

Made a giant Jaffa cake. Was so yum. Who likes Jaffa cakes? 😍

Sometimes beautiful bleakness is the best cure, especially when combined with the freshest of airs.

Happy New Year! I was elated to make it to the annual Christmas lights extraordinaire in a road nearby. The whole close gets involved in the extravaganza with donations made to Brian House Hospice for children. It was rather emotional. And so gloriously colourful and bright.
