I haven’t been into giving and receiving presents for years and years. I’ve been such a traveler, without family, so it wasn’t a thing. Yesterday I opened a big box from my sweet mother in law and found all these parcels. I cried a little and realised how much I’d missed them.
I’m a member of the fb group Oriental Shorthairs Rule!! because I’ve got a fairly unhealthy obsession with the breed. I found this catto capture and thought it personified so well the general mischievousness of cats at Christmas time (and all times let’s be honest 😸).

I felt everso mature yesterday treating myself to the finer things in life. I also celebrated the fact that they were both on offer so I saved money 🎉 I may or may not have enjoyed a tipple of one of them to make my walk home mildly more enjoyable 😉 Love the elegant bottle.

I’m enjoying a rainforest soundscape I made for tomorrow’s Tropical Harp live session 21:15 GMT. As the wind bellows outside with 40mph gusts on the edge of a scottish valley, I’m inside in a warm forest with birds, frogs and monkeys. Maybe a wee tad of thunder 😉⚡
The biggest lesson at the moment is about connections with people. You don’t have to hold onto people if your gut is telling you not to. If those people stress you out mentally, stay away from them emotionally and/or physically.
