This is the face of someone who feels as free as a bird now, who is grateful to have learnt many lessons this week, who has bought two pineapple muffins with butter icing on top and who is staying in a spa hotel tonight with no responsibility except to relax, swim and steam.

If I didn’t know she was a sweet, soft little baby catto, with a tiny high-pitched meow, I’d actually be quite concerned about her prowling towards me at this point. She looks as fierce as a dragon.

18: I pick a medicine card from a deck created by Jamie Sams and David Carson. I pick Mountain Lion and read what it says about this animal totem.

I’m not at my best. But I’m still out there kicking my own ass, dancing hard and making sure I push past all the excuses to get myself moving. I refuse to be beaten. I will get better. This will pass. Raaaaaaah.

17: I danced this evening. First time properly in a few days. I needed to know I could conquer my body. I needed to know I could dance through the pain. Here I talk about what went on during that epic dance. I’m a tiny bit spacey.

Call me Miss Decadence today. Treats are well and truly happening! This was a scrumptious layered lemon cake…moist, creamy, tangy. The one shot cappuccino was soft and chocolatey. The place Bread-Source was peaceful, simple, Nordic and calm. I sat in the garden. Bliss.

Strangers Coffee Shop, Norwich. Edgy cool cafe. I sat outside as it’s tiny. One of those cafes which feels super serious about coffee. Great foam art. Very strong cappuccino for me. I must remember to ask for one shot. Carrot cake - top notch. Yum.

Feels great to be out walking a new city. Discovering places with innocent eyes. Laughing, playing, eating cake. I’m on a cake crawl! Flowing with local energy which intermingles with my own. Life has presented a few challenges this week so I’m happy to be out kissing octopus.
